LoginCode is a lightweight, encryption-focused password manager designed to securely store and autofill credentials without reliance on cloud ecosystems. Running it as a portable application ensures you can carry your login vault on any USB flash drive or portable storage device and safely access your passwords on different machines.
Setting up LoginCode Portable requires just a few rapid steps to create an encrypted local environment. ⏱️ Quick 3-Step Setup
Follow this rapid routine to configure the application on a portable drive: 1. Prepare Your Media & App Files Insert a USB flash drive into your computer.
Create a dedicated directory on the root of the drive (e.g., G:\LoginCode</code>).
Extract or place the LoginCode application executable (.exe) directly into that directory. 2. Run the App and Launch the Database Wizard Launch the program directly from your portable drive.
Because it detects no pre-existing files, the system initiates the Database Wizard automatically.
Follow the prompt to allocate a local folder on the USB drive to save your primary single-file vault database. 3. Establish Your Master Security Key
Input a highly secure Master Password when prompted by the wizard.
Warning: Because LoginCode utilizes end-to-end multiple encryption layers locally, forgetting this password makes your vault permanently unrecoverable.
Click Finish to finalize the setup wizard. Your application is now fully configured and running locally. ⚙️ Operating Your Vault Efficiently
Now that the system is live, utilize these features to maximize its speed and automation capabilities:
Create Web Login Items: Click the add item command to store the direct site URL, your username, and your password string into your database entries.
Automatic Login Execution: Double-click any Web Login Item. The application will launch your browser window, parse the fields, autofill credentials, and automatically execute the server sign-in.
Cross-Device Migration: Because the database file resides inside a strongly encrypted independent container on your USB stick, you can copy the root folder to another workstation or laptop anytime. You only need your master key to decrypt it. Preface - LoginCode
